CALLING ALL DAIRY QUEENS – NATIONAL ICE CREAM DAY IS THIS SUNDAY
It’s only Friday and a heat advisory has already been issued for the entire weekend. Ugh! With temperatures expected to hover around the 112 to 115 mark, there’s no better weekend for National Ice Cream Day to fall on than this Sunday. Actually the whole month is proclaimed National Ice Cream Month as declared by President Ronald Reagan in 1984. Yours Truly is already in a panic about the appropriate way to keep herself in a state of perpetual coolity and so is only too happy to present opportunities where frozen dairy treats are concerned.
