‘Evening of Cabaret’

It was an intimate evening of music in the private residence of Penn and Emily Jillette on Jan. 25, when Aid for AIDS of Nevada’s “Evening of Cabaret” hosted television and Broadway star John Davidson. Davidson started his career on Broadway 50 years ago and has toured in various musicals including “Wicked,” “The Fantasticks” and “Finding Neverland.” Guests were treated to a reception featuring culinary bites from Honey Salt, and had a chance to bid on live auction items. The event raised nearly $10,000 to benefit AFAN’s services for more than 1,500 clients living with or affected by HIV/AIDS in Southern Nevada.

Among the first set of headliners at Kaos, Cardi B sang until 4 a.m.
Guests at the eighth anniversary celebration gathered under the boughs of “Absinthe’s” Electric Oak art installation, which has 120,000 LED leaves that change color to music.
The meal included ladybug cake pops.
