FIT Gala

The Foundation for an Independent Tomorrow (FIT) honored Michael Bolognini, Market Vice President – Las Vegas at Cox Communications and chairman of the Las Vegas Metro Chamber of Commerce, at the 21st annual FIT Gala.

More than 400 attended the Oct. 20 event at Caesars Palace. Guests enjoyed food prepared by executive banquet chef Sherman Branick, chef de cuisine Luis Celis-Lopez and pastry chef Patrick Jozwicka, and cocktails while bidding on silent auction items that included signed Vegas Golden Knights memorabilia.

The gala raised more than $225,000 for FIT, which provides workforce development to underemployed and unemployed Southern Nevadans.

Among the first set of headliners at Kaos, Cardi B sang until 4 a.m.
Guests at the eighth anniversary celebration gathered under the boughs of “Absinthe’s” Electric Oak art installation, which has 120,000 LED leaves that change color to music.
The meal included ladybug cake pops.
