Three-time Grammy winner Kelly Clarkson headlined the “INSPIRE” event May 24 at The Venetian. Presented by Sands Cares, the Las Vegas Sands’ corporate giving program, the charity concert raised nearly $300,000 for Sands Cares Accelerator Program members — the Marty Hennessy Inspiring Children Foundation and Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth. More than 1,750 people heard the inaugural winner of “American Idol” sing her hits in the intimate Venetian Theatre. The show also featured performances by Ava Frasier, a former pupil at the Inspiring Children Foundation and current music student at Belmont University, and Clarkson’s tourmate Brynn Cartelli, who won Season 14 of “The Voice.”

Luxury is owned by the family of Las Vegas Sands Corp. Chairman and CEO Sheldon Adelson. Las Vegas Sands operates The Venetian.
