Las Vegas Fashion Council’s ‘artLIVE!’

The Las Vegas Fashion Council held its fourth annual ‘artLIVE!’ event on Oct. 19 at Zappos downtown.

Ten “painted ladies,” the event’s signature mannequins hand-painted by a collective of local artists, were on display and later auctioned. Guests enjoyed live music, body painting and sand art demonstrations during the evening, as well as an auction of items by brands including Kendra Scott, Alexander McQueen, Yves St. Laurent, Neiman Marcus, Hermès, David Yurman and more.

More than $15,000 was raised for the LVFC, which seeks to advance the Las Vegas fashion industry.

Among the first set of headliners at Kaos, Cardi B sang until 4 a.m.
Guests at the eighth anniversary celebration gathered under the boughs of “Absinthe’s” Electric Oak art installation, which has 120,000 LED leaves that change color to music.
The meal included ladybug cake pops.

Those attending the Grand Tasting sipped wine and sampled delectables from food stations manned in part by UNLV students, who received college credit.
