Las Vegas Polo Classic

Attendees at the second annual Las Vegas Polo Classic watched a series of outdoor polo matches played over two days at the 15-acre Star Nursery field next to Sam Boyd Stadium.

Spectators indulged in a weekend of polo, high fashion, gourmet food and wine, and enjoyed the half-time divot stomp with Champagne, a hat contest and other events.

Fierce competition ensued between UBS and Blue Heron in the Sport of Kings before UBS prevailed.

Guests enjoyed a lively runway show by Saks Fifth Avenue and boutique shopping for clothing, jewelry, watches, jets and a Range Rover in Polo Village, which was sponsored by Watches of Switzerland, Wynn Las Vegas, Synergy, Sotheby’s International Realty, Land Rover Las Vegas, and Luxury Las Vegas magazine.

A performance by country band WolfCreek and a dazzling hot air balloon glow, in which balloons lined the field while lighting up the night, capped the weekend of fun.

Among the first set of headliners at Kaos, Cardi B sang until 4 a.m.
Guests at the eighth anniversary celebration gathered under the boughs of “Absinthe’s” Electric Oak art installation, which has 120,000 LED leaves that change color to music.
The meal included ladybug cake pops.

Those attending the Grand Tasting sipped wine and sampled delectables from food stations manned in part by UNLV students, who received college credit.
