‘Magic of Discovery’ GALA

Discovery Children’s Museum held its annual Magic of Discovery Gala on Sept. 29 at Caesars Palace, where guests danced the night away to a live musical performance by Bella Electric Strings and bid on auction items.

More than $300,000 was raised, which will help fund educational programs in the Las Vegas valley and strengthen Discovery’s programming.

Jeri and Rick Crawford were honored with the 2018 Great Friend to Kids Award for their commitment to youth arts education programs throughout the city.

Among the first set of headliners at Kaos, Cardi B sang until 4 a.m.
Guests at the eighth anniversary celebration gathered under the boughs of “Absinthe’s” Electric Oak art installation, which has 120,000 LED leaves that change color to music.
The meal included ladybug cake pops.

Those attending the Grand Tasting sipped wine and sampled delectables from food stations manned in part by UNLV students, who received college credit.
