Rise Up Gala

The Imagine Dragons’ sixth annual “Rise Up Gala” raised $3.2 million on Sept. 6 at Wynn Las Vegas. The rock band’s benefit for the Tyler Robinson Foundation supports families with children who have cancer. Entertainers, celebrities and past honorees were among the 850 guests who attended the sold-out event, including Alexandra Daddario, Concetta “Aunt Chippy” Potenza, Dolph Lundgren, Daniel Emmet,
Mike Xavier and members of the Vegas Golden Knights. Actor Oliver Trevena served as master of ceremonies for the evening, which included an acoustic performance by Imagine Dragons. The Grammy winners’ set featured their hit songs, including “Radioactive” and “Believer.” Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn Goodman honored the group for their philanthropic work by naming Sept. 6, 2019, as Imagine Dragons Day in Las Vegas.
Also recognized for contributions to the foundation were NBA basketball Hall of Famer Shaquille O’Neal, who was named TRF Honorary Chair for donating his time and money to numerous charities throughout the global community; Zappos and Zappos For Good (TRF Community Impact Award); Corner Canyon High School (Team TRF Honoree); and Tim and Amy Cantor (TRF Legacy Award).
