Lighten up: Fall ushers in neutrals and naturals

With the transition from summer to fall comes changes in design and color palettes in the world of decorating.

Repeated round patterns, crystal, stone and sophisticated neutral textiles and furnishings took center stage at the biannual Las Vegas Market this summer — the largest showroom experience on the West Coast. Light and bright decor and furniture were complemented by touches of glamour.

A palette of light grays and creams paired with pewter, crystal, geode and agate accents were visible throughout. Walls and floors extended the trend with pastel wall art and light gray and white vinyl floor mats, making it easier to execute cohesive design plans. Here are a few of our favorite finds.

Among the first set of headliners at Kaos, Cardi B sang until 4 a.m.
Guests at the eighth anniversary celebration gathered under the boughs of “Absinthe’s” Electric Oak art installation, which has 120,000 LED leaves that change color to music.
The meal included ladybug cake pops.

Those attending the Grand Tasting sipped wine and sampled delectables from food stations manned in part by UNLV students, who received college credit.
