Elegant tequila, straight up

As luxury tequilas go, Clase Azul offers a line of high-end products coveted by those who know their agave spirits. Prized nearly as much for its handcrafted, hand-painted decanters as the nectars they house, various editions can cost hundreds to tens of thousands of dollars per bottle.

As a result, they’re often seen at celebrity events and VIP parties. One blend, however, is only available at select MGM properties on the Las Vegas Strip.

MGM Resorts International has joined forces with the Mexican tequila house to create 504 bottles of a proprietary Joven blend, sold exclusively at the company’s top Las Vegas properties. Each is adorned with the famed MGM lion’s head, painted in 24-karat gold. The golden amber blend of four spirits offers hints of chocolate, vanilla, caramel and citrus on the nose and the palate.

The limited creation can be enjoyed for $60 a pour at the top bars in Bellagio, Aria, Vdara, Mandalay Bay, The Delano, MGM Grand, Park MGM, The Mirage and New York-New York, while supplies last.
