In a cocktail-centric city like Las Vegas, it’s easy to find delightful, distinctive glasses of liquid holiday spirit. We scouted out yuletide creations that highlight five foundation spirits guaranteed to stir up
some holiday cheer.

Rum – Pecan-Pie-Rites

The name is a nod to The Golden Tiki’s pirate theme, but to achieve a real taste of the holidays, the team infuses curacao overnight with large chunks of Trader Joe’s pecan pie. The Golden Tiki.

Gin – Winterqueen

Whiskey – French Toast Manhattan

With plenty of sweet notes to take the edge off its bourbon base, this cocktail tickles your tongue while it warms your insides. It starts with the sugary taste of maple syrup, but extends to holiday hints of hazelnut,

Vodka – Coconut White Russian

The little things matter, especially when putting a signature spin on a classic cocktail. So The Venetian’s mixologist Sam Ross added a float of coconut cream, whipped to order, that elevates the familiar coffee notes to create a holiday memory.  Dorsey in The Venetian.

Tequila – El Grito

Internationally renowned barman Francesco LaFranconi created this drink to spotlight Casa Dragones’ new blanco tequila, the company’s first product designed with cocktails in mind. He added luxurious touches such as Moscato and pomegranate-infused ice, crystalized pumpkin, caramelized sage and edible gold leaf. Mr. Coco in The Palms.
