Chanel’s N°5 L’eau Limited Edition ($160) reimagines the sophisticated vessel (famously inspired by Place Vendôme in Paris) in crimson crystal as a tribute to Mademoiselle’s favorite color.
Even more decadent is N°5 Limited Edition Grand Extrait ($30,000). Made in collaboration with Baccarat, artisans melted 24-karat gold powder into the crystal at more than 1,000˚F for a jewel-like effect. Each flacon — of which only 55 are produced — is numbered, filled with 30.4 ounces of the signature scent and nestled in a leather case.
