The handbags and accessories in Louis Vuitton’s exotic leather collection are crafted from swaths as vibrant and verdant as the flora and fauna of a tropical rain forest, buffed and polished to gleaming perfection and preserved to last for generations.

Those who make private appointments at the Louis Vuitton Exotics Caravan at Las Vegas City Center between April 23 and May 7 will be able to customize orders for assorted leather goods in an array of leathers and colorways. Three new colors — Sienne, Blanc and Rose Peony — have been introduced for spring.

Each design is made by hand at the company’s atelier in Asnières, France. Additional options for four of the brand’s most recognizable and classic handbags are available through the made-to-order crocodile program for truly one-of-a-kind pieces. Prices can soar into the mid-five figure range so if your heart is already starting to beat faster, your reptilian brain may not be able to resist the temptation.
