Wedded to comfort: Embark on a new life looking, feeling your best

With all of the preparation that goes into putting on the perfect wedding, the happy couple might more aptly be called the exhausted couple. Luckily Las Vegas is a spa town with an array of treatments that cater to brides, grooms and wedding parties in need of some TLC, so they can head into the momentous day hydrated, happy and relaxed.


The Bride-To-Be Package: This six-month series of treatments includes a skin care consultation and six 50-minute facials that regenerate and rejuvenate through a glycolic peel and evening primrose oil applications, which gently exfoliate and nourish dry skin. An antioxidant-rich vitamin C complex helps restore the skin’s healthy glow, while argan plant stem cell and Tri Retinol plumps and reduces fine lines and wrinkles. The package also includes six Nirvana Stress Massages using aromatherapy. Four aromatherapy blends are available to jump-start the senses. $1,940 and up.

Holistic Bride Treatment: The Himalayan Salt Stone Massage is an 80-minute treatment similar to a regular hot stone massage. Known for its purity, versatility and mineral content, Himalayan crystal salts are believed to promote overall wellness. Massage therapists also use warm stones to soothe sore muscles, restore balance and remove toxins. Light-to-medium pressure to facilitate circulation, digestion and energy is applied. Also included is an 80-minute Naturopathic Holistic Facial, which provides a luxurious lymphatic brushing followed by a sculpting massage with a manuka honey cleansing balm to boost blood flow and nourish skin. A fitness class is also part of the package. $530 and up.

For the Gentleman Package: Six 50-minute facials deep-clean pores and remove impurities with natural enzymes. Antioxidants are used to neutralize free radicals. Soothing aloe combats the drying effects of daily shaving and the harsh desert climate. The package also includes six 50-minute Alpine Arnica Deep Tissue Massages. The intensive treatments relax sore muscles, tendons and stiff joints using products made with arnica, sweet birch and magnesium. The treatment also mixes trigger point therapy and and other massage techniques. $1,760 and up.


The Couples Romance Package: This four-hour pampering session includes a 50-minute signature aromatherapy massage for each (with choice of aromas), plus an 80-minute face-and-body treatment that exfoliates, hydrates and rejuvenates. A soothing coconut milk bath for two follows, along with complimentary champagne and chocolate. $605 per person. (An extra fee is required for a private spa suite that includes a lounge with vanity, lockers, steam shower, food, beverages, hydrotherapy tub, relaxation lounge and flat-screen TV. Three-hour minimum at $75 an hour per person.)


Couple’s Good Luck Ritual: This custom massage uses Swedish or deep tissue techniques with ginger root bath-and-body oil and lemon grass and avocado oils plus a lavender honey mist. An invigorating peppermint foot treatment lfollows, then moisturizing hand therapy and a relaxing botanical scalp massage with wild lime scalp oil. All services are performed together in a special couples room. 80 minutes, $640 per couple weekdays; $660 per couple weekends.
